Pixle is a free daily picture puzzle. Each day a single pixelated image is waiting to be revealed — sharpen it one tap at a time and work out what it shows before you run out of reveals.
The earlier (more pixelated) the image you solve on, and the faster your time, the better you rank. The leaderboard groups players by the image they solved on, then sorts by time. Some categories — like albums (artist + album) or films (title + year) — award a gold star ⭐ for a complete answer.
A fresh Pixle unlocks at midnight in your timezone, and the whole world plays the same puzzle for each date. You can also replay older puzzles from the archive — those rounds are just for fun and aren't scored.
Pixle is a free daily picture puzzle. You start with a heavily pixelated image and reveal a sharper version with every tap. Guess what it shows — an album cover, a film, an actor, a flag, a landmark and more — in as few reveals and as little time as possible.
Press Begin to start the timer, then tap the image to reveal more detail. Type your guess at any point and press Submit. Solve it and you can enter three initials for that day's leaderboard.
Yes. A new Pixle goes live at midnight in your own timezone, and everyone in the world plays the same puzzle for a given date — whichever part of the world reaches that date first sets it for everyone.
Your score rewards solving on an earlier (more pixelated) image and in a faster time. The leaderboard groups players by the image they solved on, then ranks by time.
Some puzzles award a gold star for a more complete answer — for example naming both the album and the artist, or the film and its year.
